Based on the new facelifted Transit, at 6.4m long this is a mid-sized van offering generous space and a large garage, without being too unwieldy to drive and manoeuvre. Designed for families, sharing friends or couples just wanting the extra space a motorhome offers, Goose has 5 travelling seats, a fixed double bed at the back, and an electric drop-down double bed over the dining area. You can also make up a small single bed from the sofas, 50cm wide (the 5th travel seat is also suitable only for younger children).
There is a comfortable shower room with basin and WC, a kitchen with oven and 3-ring gas hob, a large fridge/freezer, heating, built-in window blinds and a large locker space ('garage') designed to take several bikes - good if you're concerned about the security risk of them being on a rear rack.
Goose differs from Rooster in the rear bed format - with Goose, there is a door to access the garage from inside. This is useful if you're taking dogs as they can sleep in the garage with the access door open; it also means you can get to your belongings without going outside. However unlike Rooster, the bed doesn't have an option to be lowered, so it sits quite high with a 7-step ladder to access, and slightly limited headroom for the person sleeping at the rear under the cabinets.
You can at additional charge rent a drive-away side awning tent. It's a practical no-nonsense 3m by 3m pole tent which attached to the side of the van so you can walk straight out through the side door into the tent without going outside. When you leave the camp site just zip it up and drive away (ensuring nothing of value is inside, of course). An additional charge of £15 per night applies.

good space in a vehicle that's not too long; being independent from camp sites (solar panel); dogs (plenty of floor space); people wanting an oven / large fridge; cyclists (option of bike rack for 4, but 2-3 can fit in the garage); two beds that don't need making up each day; a very large garage
NOT GOOD FOR: going down narrow lanes
