Rooster

A MID SIZE MOTORHOME FOR UP TO 4 PEOPLE WITH AN AUTOMATIC GEARBOX

Rooster is a Roller Team Kronos Compact 665, a brand new model for 2026 and one of the new slimline motorhomes - usefully narrower than a full sized motorhome so easier for lanes, but little different in terms of inside space. The outside photo above is the 2025 wider version, this model is so new there aren't yet any external photos available; but all the internal photos are of the new 2026 model.

Based on the Ford Transit, at 6.4m long this is a mid-sized van offering generous space and a large garage, without being too unwieldy to drive and manoeuvre. Designed for families, sharing friends or couples just wanting the extra space a motorhome offers, Rooster has 4 travelling seats, a double bed at the back which can be raised to make more space in the garage below, and an electric drop-down double bed over the dining area.

There is a comfortable shower room with basin and WC, a kitchen with oven and 3-ring gas hob, a large fridge/freezer, heating, built-in window blinds and a large over-cab window.

The garage is very large, some 1.3 metres high, meaning you can fit bikes inside - good if you're concerned about the security risk of them being on a rear rack. . On Rooster1 with the bed in the lower position, the garage height is 0.9m and in the middle position it's 1.1m, whilst at the high position it's 1.3m. If you're taking bikes and need the garage space, you can also hire a bike rack at a small additional charge.

You can also rent a drive-away side awning tent. It's a practical no-nonsense 3m by 3m pole tent which attached to the side of the van so you can walk straight out through the side door into the tent without going outside. When you leave the camp site just zip it up and drive away (ensuring nothing of value is inside, of course). An additional charge of £20 per night applies.

A bike rack for up to 4 bikes can be added for a small additional charge.

If you're looking for three beds, or prefer a larger van with a lounge at the back, please take a look at Goose and Angus. If you need more than 4 seatbelts please see Angus.
