A CHARISMATIC VW CAMPER VAN WITH TWO BEDS
Clio is a 2026 Volkswagen T7 camper van with 4 travelling seats and two beds. It's based on the brand new T7 long wheel base van which is 5.4m long, a little longer than the average VW camper which gives essential additional storage space.
Designed for singles, couples or perhaps those with young kids looking for a compact, easy-to-drive, characterful campervan, Clio is a conversion by the renowned converter Maverick Outdoors of Leamington Spa. Maverick specialise in hand-made innovative designs built to the highest standards, using quality materials and sold wood cabinetry.
During the day you can raise the pop-up roof to give you plenty of standing height, making it a doddle to use the sink, fridge and induction hob (we provide suitable pans and a kettle). At night, the rear seats concertina down to make a bed for two, and there’s a bed in the pop-up roof which is half way between a single and a double in size. There are two barn doors at the back and a wide sliding side door. The front seats swivel.
All the rear windows have curtains, and we provide insulated blinds for the cab which attach to the windows using suckers. There’s very good storage space under the rear seat, and sufficient lockers for the provided kitchen equipment and your gear – but of course you’ll need to pack light. We suggest bringing soft bags for keeping your clothes in to make the most of the available space.

GOOD FOR:
accessing all areas, even small roads; people who aren't comfortable driving large vehicles; couples with a dog or small children; off-grid camping.
NOT SO GOOD FOR:
those who carry alot of equipment; families with larger children; those wanting a bathroom or hot running water.
You can dramatically extend your living or sleeping space in Clio by hiring the optional awning tent which attaches to the van to make a continuous cosy space.
The awning tent is simple to erect and takes 20-25 minutes.
