Hugo

A COMPACT 6.0 METRE AUTOMATIC MOTORHOME FOR UP TO 2 PEOPLE

Hugo is a brand new 2027 Carado T135 Pro+. Carado is a German brand, part of the respected Hymer group. It's designed for singles or couples looking for an easy-to-drive but comprehensively equipped modern campervan. It has 4 seatbelts and sleeps 2 people in twin bed format giving each person independent access; this bed can be joined together to create a king size bed. There's also a solar panel to keep your battery topped up, a reversing camera and cab air conditioning. Outside there is a wind-out awning for shade.

There's a feeling of light and connection to the outside world thanks to wide windows, including in the back doors. At the back there's are twin longitudinal beds (meaning you sleep along the length of the van instead of across it), giving generous open storage space below the bed. Above the bed on both sides are storage lockers.

There's a good sized bathroom with a toilet and basin, and an opening window. The internal wall hinges across to reveal a spacious easily accessible shower. Up front there's a separate seating area with extendable dining table and front swivelling seats, and a kitchenette equipped with a fridge, oven and hob.

All windows have both flyscreens and blackout blinds. In the cab you'll find fitted pleated blinds for privacy at night or heat reduction in the daytime. The side door also has a fly screen.

A COMPACT MOTORHOME FOR UP TO 4 PEOPLE with an AUTOMATIC GEARBOX

Hugo is a 2026 Autotrail F60. This year's F60 has updated interior colour schemes and full leatherette upholstery.

At just 6m long Hugo is the same length as Piglet, but the extra 40cm width transforms the inside into a spacious, light, open space which seems impossible in such a short vehicle. This is achieved by locating the bathroom at the back of the van across the full width, and using an electric drop-down double bed instead of a fixed rear bed. So you don't need to make up your bed every day - you just push a button and it ascends into the roof, leaving you with a table and seating for up to 6.

Although primarily designed for couples, the dinette area converts into a second double bed so four people can sleep in comfort. This lower bed also makes for a lounging space on a wet day.  There are two belted seats in the back so this motorhome can both transport and sleep up to 4 people, but do not that storage is fairly limited storage space so you'll need to travel light. The flip side of this is that Hugo is the most spacious feeling of all our vans below 7 metres.

The feel inside is focused on comfort, with effective ambient lighting and clever storage solutions. There is a small outside cupboard and a separate outside cubby for footwear. Hugo has hot water, heating, a fridge, a hob and sink, a solar panel, a BBQ point, cab air conditioning, a reversing camera, front and rear parking sensors, ISOFIX fittings, a 200 watt solar panel, and cruise control. There's also a 12" touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A robust kit table is provided for eating inside or outside. There are fitted blinds to all windows including the cab.

There is an option to add a drive-away awning which gives you additional sleeping and storage space.
