You can dramatically extend your living or sleeping space in Clio by hiring the optional awning tent which attaches to the van to make a continuous cosy space.
The awning tent is simple to erect and takes 20-25 minutes.
The charge is £20 per night.

A CHARISMATIC VW CAMPER VAN WITH TWO BEDS
Clio is a 2022 Volkswagen camper van with 4 travelling seats and two beds. Designed for singles, couples or perhaps those with young kids looking for a compact, easy-to-drive, characterful campervan. During the day you can raise the pop-up roof to give you plenty of standing height, making it a doddle to use the sink, fridge and gas hob (there’s also a microwave which works when you’re hooked up). At night, the rear seats fold down to make a bed for two, and there’s a large single bed in the pop-up roof best suited to children or one adult. Thanks to the colour scheme and all-round windows there's plenty of light and a feeling of space that belies this little van’s 4.9m length. There’s a single large door at the back which opens upwards to shelter you from rain, and a wide sliding side door. The front seats swivel and there’s a small pivoted table by the passenger seat, whilst rear passengers get a folding table which attaches to a rail above the microwave.
All the rear windows have blackout curtains, and we provide insulated blinds for the cab which attach to the windows using suckers. There’s a decent storage space under the rear seats, and sufficient lockers for the provided kitchen equipment and your gear – but you’ll need to pack light. We suggest bringing soft bags for keeping your clothes in to make the most of the available space.
There’s an outdoor shower for cleaning your wetsuit or dog, or some impromptu clothes washing (note there’s no running hot water, though you can boil a kettle).
